My Willow Sculptures on ‘Unconventional Brits’
I’m absolutely thrilled to share that I was recently featured in Episode 40 of Unconventional Brits—a wonderful series that celebrates people doing things a little differently.
Filmed at the stunning Lytham Hall, the episode explores my work as a willow sculptor and how I use natural materials to handcraft one-of-a-kind models and characters. You can watch the full episode here, and I appear from 04:58 to 09:44 if you’d like to jump straight to my bit.
In the segment, I talk about how I first got started and what inspires my sculptures. I’ve always loved nature, and I try to capture that same sense of calm and curiosity in everything I make.
Lytham Hall has become one of my key places to share my work. It’s a space full of beauty, history, and people who genuinely appreciate handmade art. The feedback from visitors has been amazing—especially from those who often imagine whole stories around my sculptures!
If you’ve ever wondered what goes into making these kinds of pieces, or you’re just curious to see what “unconventional” really looks like, I’d love for you to take a look at the episode.
Thanks so much to Unconventional Brits and the team behind the show for giving me the chance to share my story.
